Delonte Maurice West (born July 26, 1983, in Washington, D.C.) is an American professional basketball player who last played with the Boston Celtics of the NBA. [...] He emerged as a talented backcourt defensive player, guarding a variety of players ranging from the 6′3″ Ben Gordon to the 6′10″ Hedo Turkoglu.
