Pearl GTL is a gas to liquids (GTL) project based in Ras Laffan, Qatar. [1]

Gas to liquids (GTL) is a refinery process to convert natural gas or other gaseous hydrocarbons into longer-chain hydrocarbons such as gasoline or diesel fuel. [2]

Rising from the desert with great speed and efficiency is the gas to liquids production facility, ORYX GTL, a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum (51%) and Sasol of South Africa (49%). [3]

The project is a Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) between Qatar Petroleum and Shell. [1]
