MONTGOMERY, NJ — Former ‘Melrose Place’ actress, Amy Locane has been charged with vehicular manslaughter in connection with a drunk driving accident last night. [4]

Amy Locane, the actress who played Sandy to Grant Show’s Jake in the original cast of “Melrose Place,” has been charged with second-degree vehicular homicide after a Sunday night crash in Montgomery, N.J., in which the passenger in the other car was killed. [5]

According to the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office, Locane plowed into the passenger side of another car in Montgomery, New Jersey… killing the woman sitting in the front seat. [2]

Locane was reportedly driving in Montgomery, NJ on Sunday evening and struck another car’s passenger side as it turned into a driveway, killing the female passenger and sending the driver to the hospital in critical condition. [3]

County Prosecutor’s Office says Locane ran into the passenger side of another car in Montgomery, New Jersey, killing a woman who was sitting in the front seat, TMZ reports. [1]

Locane, who played Sandy in the original ‘Melrose Place,’ is accused of plowing into the passenger side of another car killing a woman in the front seat. [4]

On Sunday night, the 38-year-old actress was charged with killing someone in a drunk-driving accident. [6]

The Newark Star-Ledger reports that the actress confessed to police that she’d consumed several glasses of wine before getting behind the wheel. [1]

According to police, she had rear-ended a car a few miles away from the fatal crash, and when the driver of the other car tried to call police, the actress got back into her SUV and drove off, “swerving and knocking down several mailboxes,” the witness told police. [6]

Locane admitted to police she drank several glasses of wine before getting behind the wheel, The Star-Ledger reports. [2]

According to the police affidavit, Locane confessed she had had several glasses of wine and just prior to the accident, was involved a hit and run, rear ending another vehicle. [3]
