Zak Woods: UFC 114 is really just about Rampage and Rashad. [1]

For the thousands browsing at home and the millions surfing cyberspace, Bleacher Report presents one of its staple series, Creature vs. Creature, for the UFC 114 main event Rashad Evans vs. Rampage Jackson. [2]

Most of these things aren’t known to the public as the fight plays out in their head before it actually happens. [3]

From where I stand, the biggest questions coming into this fight aren’t Rampage’s commitment to training or his ring rust, they concern Rashad’s chin. [4]

LAS VEGAS — Spend enough time around Rashad Evans and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, and you begin to wonder if they wish this whole trash-talk thing never began. [5]

Look for both men to be slow to engage during a tentative first round before Rampage turns up the pressure in the second. [4]

Evans main card bouts featuring Diego Sanchez Vs. [6]

If Rashad didn’t have such a pattern of fading as the fight goes on I would pick him because of that, but alas, I still think Quinton has this fight. [7]

Such is the case with the UFC 114 matchup between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans. [3]

Sure it’s going to make them a lot of money at UFC 114, but it’s also clear that they’re both ready to fight and move on. [5]

Rampage will be at least 10 pounds heavier than Rashad come fight time and I think he’ll be able to get inside and muscle Rashad around in what should be a very good fight. [8]

Brent Brookhouse: Dan Lauzon is out of the UFC after this. [...] Still, the style matchup favors Jackson, and Rashad will have to outwork him for three rounds to overcome that. [7]

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson were yelling over each other at last week’s prefight teleconference. [6]

Nick Becker: I refuse to buy into the Rashad hype. [4]
