The clock is ticking to Minute to Win It’s premiere on Sunday, March 14th at 7PM. [1]

With the new NBC game show series, Minute to Win It, almost set to take to the airwaves on March 14, All-American chef and host of Minute to Win It, Guy Fieri, will have his hands full when competitors compete for a million dollar prize by facing 10 challenges that escalate in level of difficulty using everyday household items. “Face the Cookie” and “Bite Me” are just two of the many humorous and challenging tasks that contestants have to do in order to reach the coveted million-dollar prize on “Minute To Win It,” the new game show that premieres Sunday on NBC. [4]

Even for a medium that has largely dedicated itself to the flagrant wasting of time, “Minute to Win It” comes across as unconscionably wasteful. [5]

NBC’s newest game show, Minute to Win It, started filming yesterday. [6]

NBC’s new game show “Minute to Win It,” hosted by All-American chef and television personality Guy Fieri (”Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives”), features competitors participating in a series of simple, yet nerve-wracking, games that can lead to a $1 million prize. [3]

Host Guy Fieri took time out from wildly cheering for the contestants to talk to reporters, including our Jim Halterman, about the challenges of this show as well as how he’s juggling his various Food Network projects, this new venture and his busy family life. [4]

Challenges must be completed within one minute, and even though the contestants aren’t actually inside a cube (as far as we know, anyway), the tasks are varied. [6]

You don’t complain about a gift from the gods — nor even one from the creatively bankrupt NBC programming department. [5]

Host Guy Fieri offers contestants a shot at $1 million–if they can complete a series of challenges using everyday objects in a race against the clock. [1]

Interestingly, Minute to Win It contestants are shown over 60 games prior to the competition and are urged to practice at home before they have one minute to win each of the 10 challenges. [2]

The nimble and cute contestant seen on the segment made available for preview admittedly earns one’s sympathy as she attempts to knock over plastic cups with the air from a balloon, wiggle a cookie from her forehead to her mouth without using her hands, lift paper bags with her teeth (that one looks absurdly easy), keep two feathers in the air by blowing on them and capture two large orange balls mounted on sticks while — get this — blindfolded!
