Dixon calls the Big East “the best conference in college basketball history” and said it wouldn’t benefit Pitt or any other conference member to switch leagues. [1]

With the Big Ten evaluating conference expansion, Pitt men’s basketball coach Jamie Dixon made it clear Thursday that his preference is for the Panthers to remain in the Big East. [2]

It’s nice that Pitt is such a loyal member of the Big East Conference. [3]

“I would love to see the Big Ten try to get Pitt to be the 12th team,” the veteran Penn State coach said Tuesday during a Big Ten coaches’ teleconference. [4]
