For those unfamiliar with Dr. Death’s story, he is a former Oklahoma Sooner football and wrestling star that made it big in the UWF and Japan. [1]

Steven Williams (born May 14, 1960 ‘ December 30, 2009), better known by his ring name “Dr. Death” Steve Williams, was an American professional wrestler and former collegiate football and wrestling star at the University of Oklahoma. [2]

I have read much better books about many of the topics he discusses including the Oklahoma Sooner football team, the UWF, and wrestlers finding salvation. [1]

Williams had his greatest success in the Land of the Rising Sun, specifically All Japan Pro Wrestling, where he held the Triple Crown Heavyweight Title, and defended that title against the likes of Kenta Kobashi, Mitsuharu Misawa, and Toshiaki Kawada. [4]

This autobiography fails to live up to the legacy that Dr. Death created in the ring. [1]
