The tree was donated by Cathy and Tom Young of Louisville, in memory of Cathy’s mother, Doris Underwood whose family brought the tree as a seedling from Germany. [2]
The city’s website call it “a celebration of Louisville attractions by the Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau, with activity such as Wii boxing by the Muhammad Ali Center, Derby Museum’s Reindeer Derby, and Louisville Slugger Museum’s Club House low-cost crafts for sale for $5. [6]
