watch world series live online

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

Even when I was a kid at home I would glue myself to the TV every night and watch the World Series games till the wee hours of the morning, and then drag myself out of bed the next morning to go to school. [1]

We are currently making major accessibility enhancements to the MLB.com portal and the MLB club websites. [...] CC Sabathia pitched well in Game 1, but took the loss at Yankee Stadium. [2]

Countries around the world can watch live streaming video of the MLB’s Division Series, League Series Championships, and World Series. [3]

I suppose the tech-savvy US resident could bounce through a foreign proxy server and buy the international package (but that would break the No More TV rule of not doing anything illegal to watch a show). [...] None of these stations actually own the content, they have a deal with Major League Baseball to get the feeds of the shows (regular season games are produced by the local sports networks, I’m not sure how the post season works). [4]

Don’t bother with asking anyone to record the games for you or trying to catch them with TiVo. [5]

The Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals, Colorado Rockies, Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels, and Boston Red Sox will be battling it out in the playoffs to make it to and win the World Series. [3]

Major League Baseball, fans at Citizens Bank Park and millions watching on TV helped Stand Up to Cancer as MLB continued its dedication to four causes during the World Series. [2]

Don’t get me wrong… I don’t sit around on weekends watching every game that comes on TV, but when I have the opportunity to catch a good game, I’ll be there in front of the TV, taking it all in and cheering on my favorite team. [1]

Subscribers to Postseason.TV can choose to watch games on several available camera angles. [2]

Watch all of the 2009 Major League Baseball postseason and 2009 World Series live online with the MLB.TV postseason package. [3]

All you have to do is download a small piece of software to your computer and it lets you pull in thousands of channels right there on your computer screen, and watch just about anything you want, including other sporting events, movies and TV shows from around the world. daylight savings 2009 fall

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

This marks the third, consecutive year of additional Daylight Savings Time for communities across Canada and the United States. [1]

Daylight Savings Time begins at 0200, but Daylight Savings Time 2009 fall back is confusing for many. [...] Daylight Savings Time 2009 fall back is November 1. [2]

The Daylight Savings Time 2009 fall back has already arrived in Britain, and in most other countries this morning. [3]

Better yet, set your clocks back an hour before you go to bed on October 31, so the clock is accurate when you wake up. [2]

Dr. Robert Douglas of Ottawa, a physicist with the time standards group for the National Research Council of Canada, said this week in a phone interview that the savings in energy costs was one of the reasons given for the decision by the Canadian and American governments to proceed jointly with the extended daylight savings period. [1]

Daylight Saving Time (or summertime as it is called in many countries) is a way of getting more light out of the day by advancing clocks by one hour during the summer. [...] Windows users should be aware that if your system doesn’t have a DST pathch, your computer will move back one hour on Sunday, October 25, you should make sure that they have the latest DST patch. [4]

The first daylight saving law went into effect in 1918, but no federal law actually requires states to observe the change; just, if they do, to do it at the same time as everyone else. [5]

But as it arrives, some in London are calling for a review in when the clocks are moved back, according to the Metro. [3]

Daylight saving time (DST) ends this Sunday, Nov. 1 at 2:00 a.m. [...] Congress passed the most recent DST revision in 2007, which sets the dates for DST: It starts on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November. [5]

Acording to a study in a state, part of which observed DST and part which did not, (I think it was michigan or Indiana) The part that did not observe DST in the past and finally converted to its use saw a gross energy use INCREASE over using only standard time year round. [...] London has already gotten to Daylight Savings Time today, but one group wants to change their DST as well, since the longer evenings are deadly on the road. [2]

That is because tomorrow morning at 2 a.m., the clocks go back an hour, officially ending Daylight Savings Time for this year. [1]

–> See Lorrie Morgan Lyrics [1]

Loretta Lynn Morgan (born June 27, 1959, in Nashville, Tennessee), known professionally as Lorrie Morgan, is an American country music singer. [2]

Although she spent most of her life singing, Lorrie Morgan didn’t become a star until the early ’90s, when she scored a string of Top Ten country hits. [3]

Born Loretta Lynn Morgan on June 27, 1959, Lorrie Morgan grew up the daughter of Grand Ole Opry star George Morgan. [4]

Though devastated, Morgan continued to work, and that year her album Leave the Light On went gold. [1]

Lorrie Morgan’s first live musical experience was singing “Paper Roses” on the Grand Ole Opry stage when she was barely thirteen years old. [5]

Four years later, she signed with RCA Records, her first major label; her first album on that label, Leave the Light On was released in 1989. [2]

In life and in art, the glamorous and gifted country stunner has a new record label, a renewed alliance with a mega-hit producer, a great husband and home life, confidence, contentment, and a spectacular new album. [6]

Some of the biggest names in country music have signed on for a tribute album to country legend Barbara Mandrell, who stepped away from the business in 1997. [3]

In 1999, Morgan returned with My Heart; the hits collection Side by Side appeared the following spring. [1]

Lorrie Morgan and Sammy Kershaw are a happy couple again, and most importantly, she says, their kids are happy and secure. [3]

The album is a collection of eleven songs that examine life from the perspective of lessons learned and wisdom earned. [6]

Something in Red, her second album, was released in 1991; it went platinum and spawned the number one single “What Part of No.” Morgan’s third album, Watch Me, was released in 1992; Merry Christmas From London (1993) and War Paint (1994) followed before she issued her Greatest Hits in 1995. [1]

The late 1980s found Morgan maturing musically and reaching critical acclaim as well as yielding chart topping hits such as “Five Minutes,” from the 1989 gold album, Leave The Light On. [5]

Lorrie quickly became one of country music’s most popular and successful female artists charting over a dozen top ten hits including ‘Five Minutes,’ ‘What Part of No,’ and ‘I Didn’t Know My Own Strength’ which all landed at number one. [7]

boondock saints tattoos

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

“Boondock Saints” was a ridiculously over-the-top action film about a pair of Irish-American twins who set out with guns and some reckless and boozy bravado to rid Boston of criminals and mafia. [1]

“Boondock Saints,” the 1999 film that achieved cult status on DVD and has now spawned a sequel, certainly had plenty of flaws. [2]

In this film publicity image released by Apparition Films, Norman Reedus, left, and Sean Patrick Flanery are shown in a scene from “The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day.” [3]

That person is writer-director Troy Duffy, a former Los Angeles bartender who had no experience in movies when his screenplay for “Boondock Saints” became a sensation in the late.90s. [2]

Like its new sequel, it’s a terrible movie (though Willem Dafoe as a gay federal investigator does liven things up in the original). [1]

Catholicism runs deep throughout “Boondock Saints”: The MacManus brothers boast huge tattoos of Jesus on their backs, chant spooky-sounding scripture and always pray over the dead bodies of their victims. [4]

The 2003 documentary “Overnight” was an intimate and fascinating look at the cliche effects that sudden stardom had on Duffy. [6]

Cloaking vigilante justice (not to mention casual racism and homophobia) in religion eventually turns “Boondock Saints” from merely a bad movie to a distasteful one. [7]

It seems, though, that the only thing he’s learned - having been skewered by former friends in “Overnight” - to hire his own documentary crew. [4]

PG-13 _ Special parental guidance strongly suggested for children under 13. [6]
