Start The Keep Austin Weird 5K will begin at the Buford Bell Tower in downtown Austin located at the intersection of West Cesar Chavez Street and Colorado Street. [1]

Registration is now open for the 6th Annual Keep Austin Weird 5K delivered by H-E-B and AT&T. Each participant will receive entry into the 5K, a Keep Austin Weird finisher’s shirt and great food from local Austin icons such as Amy’s Ice Cream, Mangia Pizza, Zen, Texadelphia, and Toot Sweet Cupcakes. The 7th Annual Keep Austin Weird 5K will begin at 8:00 AM starting at the Buford Bell Tower in downtown Austin located at the intersection of west Cesar Chavez Street and Colorado Street. [3]

The Keep Austin Weird 5K is next Saturday, June 28 at Auditorium Shores Gates open and music starts at 3 p.m., and the actual run kicks off at 6 p.m. [4]

The Keep Austin Weird 5K will be a unique South Austin race - the first run after the hot summer. [5]

Unofficially known to some as “the slowest 5K you’ll ever run,” the 7th Annual Keep Austin Weird 5K is an experience you’ll never forget. [3]

Registration also includes 2 wristbands into the music festival, so bring a friend and enjoy the music, H-E-B kids zone, vendors, and other festivities all day long! [2]

A celebration of Austin and it’s uniqueness, the event will entail much more than just running, and we expect many more non-athletes than your typical 5K. [5]

Be sure to stop by the Kids Zone, where the little ones can binge on Amy’s Ice Cream, make their own ‘weird’ costumes and jump themselves silly on the moonwalk. [7]

The Town Lake Hike and Bike trail was packed this morning at 7:30 a.m., when police reporter Tony Plohetski and I ventured out for a 4-miler. [4]

Online registration is available through Thursday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. [6]
