In the face of unexpected controversy, the U.S. Department of Education has now made a greater disclosure via information on their website (Ed.gov), along with answers to many questions concerning the upcoming Education Speech, few words have been said about whose budget this speech is coming from. Others did not hear the message at all, either because their parents pulled from them from class or their schools refused to carry the speech over complaints from conservative groups and others that it smacked of political indoctrination. [3]
