Even though cops argue superheroes belong in the movies and not on the streets, “Life” and his odd-looking crew hand out food to the homeless and assure the mentally ill they still matter in a town famous for its arrogance. [3]
These people wear masks or otherwise disguise themselves in order to perform “heroic deeds” like community services or fighting crime when they come across it. Today I want to talk about the men and women who dress up in colorful (or not so colorful) outfits and go out and patrol the streets without the sanction of city, state or federal governments. [1]
For attention or to highlight a cause of significance to them, some people name and/or garb themselves like established comic book characters. [5]
